#1: Design and Budget Around What’s in Stock

When it comes to getting prices, I don’t like to call. I’d rather do it myself.

You may feel the same way.

If you are a commercial (or sometimes commercial) contractor, you’re pricing stuff on the fly. The scope is changing, the schedule is changing, you know the drill.

The delay in going between you and the rep are dependent on everyone’s availability.

You could figure out how to design around what’s in stock. Curbs, fans, roof frames, Gripple, diffusers, grilles, infrared, whatever your customer needs. Some of the equipment Air Flow has, you can get anywhere. But try to find some of the less common items, and you’ll be looking to and fro.

After all, what’s more important than your time?
