My twin boys are 15. To them, I am annoying and ‘cringy’. They don’t hold any fear of me like I did of my parents when I was a kid, so they say whatever they want to me without any filtering. Can you relate?
(For the other 50+ folks on this string, the cringy definition is at the bottom of the email, just in case you don’t know the word.)
I used to think I was kind of funny and could rattle off a bunch of jokes and get a laugh.
Those days are over.
Since fear no longer works, I embrace my ability to annoy them! And for that, there’s Dad jokes.
Here’s 5 on humidity, in honor of our upcoming dehumidification class.
- Why did the humidifier break up with the dehumidifier? They had too many “mist”understandings!
- Why did the dehumidifier start a stand-up comedy career? It wanted to bring some “dry humor” into people’s lives!
- Why did the chemist break up with lithium chloride? Because it was too “salty” for their relationship!
- What do you call the moisture that forms between two lovers in Alabama? Relative Humidity.
- I hate people who use the wrong words in a sentence and don’t correct themselves. They sometimes should have the humidity to admit it.
This is going to be a great class, and I promise, no more dad jokes.
