Of course, the devil is in the details.
Question is, how much of this information is available from the manufacturers, and how much of it do you have to test on your own?
Second question is, what can’t you test for? You might be surprised.
Third question is, what does it take to test it? Harder than you think.
The old pros perhaps know the answers to these questions, but then again, are the old pros putting together systems that don’t leak? Not according to SMACNA.
