Do the Diffusers Need to be Mounted Low? Nah.

by

When you pick a ceiling or sidewall diffuser, the throw in heating and cooling mode changes due to buoyancy.

You have to pull out the book, look at the flow, and look at the throw, to get the right neck size.

Get that wrong, a draft is created, as is a call back for discomfort.

With displacement, all that goes out the door.

Think about it this way…if you are filling up a kiddie pool, does it really matter where you hold the hose?

So no, the diffusers don’t HAVE to be mounted low.

You’ll learn all this and more in class.
