Earlier in October (2025), Air Flow put on a chiller basics class. If you attended, we hope you liked it!
Towards the end of the presentation, we added an informative acoustic analysis of several similar models of air-cooled chillers.

It’s interesting, if I do say so myself…
A few takeaways:
- The acoustic packages offered by chiller manufacturers may be ‘better,’ but they won’t always solve your property line challenges.
- The raw data coming from chiller manufacturers isn’t always the most helpful, and we show how to convert it.
- The analysis of the chiller sound barrier walls can be performed by you, Air Flow, or Price Industries using the All-In-One software platform, and we will walk through an example.

- Finally, if you have a project with an air-cooled chiller that you wonder might disturb the neighbors, send it our way! We just need the roof plan, property line concerns, and the chiller submittals.
