Agenda
During the 3-hour seminar, Ben and Michael from Price will together address the following:
Displacement Ventilation Questions to be answered:
- What are the displacement ventilation basics?
- I want to try DV, what kind of help can I expect?
- How does the air flow volume change with DV compared to mixing?
- If I can’t get diffusers to the floor; how can I use DV?
- Since I can’t heat with DV, what are my options and work arounds?
- I only have 55F to work with. Can I still use DV?
- The budget is tight. I’m pretty sure I can’t afford a premium. Is DV a premium?
- Can you go through some applications with me?
- Are you sure Shirley’s toes are going to be comfortable?
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Questions to be answered:
- What is CFD?
- What is CFD is used for?
- How does Price address garbage-in/garbage out challenges with CFD?
- What types of spaces CFD is best suited to, specifically related to comfort and air quality?
- What types of systems can be evaluated with CFD? (Includes chilled beam, displacement, underfloor, mixing, laminar, and radiant systems.)
- What types of conclusions can be/have been derived from the outputs?
- What problems can be/have been solved from CFD analysis?
- What guarantees can be provided (insurance and assurance) with the use of CFD?
- What are the estimated costs?
- If my company has in-house CFD, why should I consider using Price’s services instead of my own?
- What’s the payoff?
- How can I justify the cost?
All this, and more, will be answered at the Displacement and CFD Seminar! See you there.
