Is Price’s Silencer Selection Offer Too Good for You to Use It?

by

I’M STUMPED

Look, everyone hates a sound problem after a project is wrapped up. But ignoring acoustics on the front end isn’t the right path.

Why would you roll the dice, either by leaving silencers off your plan, or not getting reliable support?

YOUR ANSWERS

Not enough time.

It’s only a rooftop.

We’re not acousticians.

We use IAC.  Their silencers perform the best.

We just plug in 5-foot silencers everywhere.

We line the duct, so we’re good.

We didn’t budget silencers, and they are expensive.

The customer didn’t ask for them.

We’re not getting paid to do this.

I DON’T AGREE

Silencers are inexpensive.  It’s not like SMACNA ductwork is free.

The acoustics review service from Price and Air Flow IS free.

If you don’t need a silencer, we’ll tell you.

You can’t really tell a customer to ignore a sound problem and expect them to use your company again.

And if you’re gun-shy about sourcing this service – I promise, no nonsense.  No crazy 8 gauge 12-foot-long silencers unless absolutely necessary (and they almost never are.)

DON’T TAKE MY WORD ON IT

Come to the basics class.  Or the advanced class.

Brush up on your barely and rarely used acoustic knowledge.

Take a virtual tour of a certified NVLAP lab and see how these silencers are tested.

See how Price supports the market with service, software, education, a lot of innovative products, and hybrid solutions.

THE ACOUSTIC LAW OF ATTRACTION and MURPHY’S LAW

Both laws say if you don’t attend, acoustic problems will find you everywhere you go.

Don’t gamble with fate.

See you in class.

All the best,
