One of the culture models that we use at Air Flow is called ‘The Working Genius’.
It’s a great tool, way better than Myers Briggs or Enneagram or DISC. Especially for the workplace.
Here’s the poop:
Some people are good at coming up with ideas. (Invention)
Some people are the ones who make lists and love to cross those off. (Tenacity)
Some people are great motivators!! (Galvanizing)
And some people love to say ‘what about this? And ‘Isn’t this better than that?’ (Discerning)
Well, one of Josh’s Working Geniuses is Discernment.
Sometimes, it makes Josh a royal pain in my ass as he dissects things that I want to be done discussing. (You may gather that I am not a discerner, but I have an office full of them!)
On the other hand, when it comes to rooftop unit selection, having a guy who knows it backwards and forwards is especially valuable. Especially if you’re not picking rooftops all the time.
Yeah yeah, you may not think of Air Flow as your rooftop people. Not yet.
Josh’s discernment, coupled with his ability to articulate his thoughts, makes him an excellent instructor for this class.
