Of course, changing habits is a big deal, and we’re asking you to consider a change.
Below are our responses to contractors without argument.
- Yes, you can do it for the same price. You already purchase piping specialties from Nexus or IMI or Hayes and get a great deal.
- Yes, you gotta keep your shop guys busy.
- Yes, that may be a lot to coordinate before the project starts.
- Yes, something is wonky in the field could happen.
That all makes sense!
But, could you think about it this way? Consider the following chart:
No one is saying you can’t pipe terminals cost effective and efficiently.
But isn’t it more efficient to eliminate steps? Handling multiple times?
It just seems like the coordination costs are not well accounted for in the traditional models.
I am not aware of any contractors using droids yet, so some paid humans are performing that labor.
