There is no HVAC board room like the image above where the owner is looking for leaks.

OF COURSE no one wants a leaky system.

But duct leakage doesn’t exactly rear up its head and bite you in the butt, does it?

It’s difficult to measure, expensive to test, and only negative results come out of it.

Rarely is there good news at the dentist, but we all want to keep our smiles intact.

Duct systems don’t have the same weight as a smile.

What should we do, if anything?

For starters, we should get smart about new systems

In the near future, there will be more rewards for high performing buildings, so a duct retrofit might actually be worthwhile.

Nothing gets solved until the problem is identified.

In this class, we’re bringing out the magnifying lens.

Duct fab, duct sealing, duct testing, accessories, high pressure, low pressure, metal duct, phenolic duct, insulation, jacketing, venture clad, all of it.

Oh yeah, all the sexy stuff.

See you in class.
