Find our heat pumps a new home. Maybe up north?

by

You guys did great; most of our inventory is gone! All the one-to-ones are finding new homes.

Here’s what’s left and how you can use it.

#1 Change out your AC at home:

If your furnace is well maintained but your AC could use an upgrade, you can replace the AC with a heat pump. It requires an A coil change. I did this retrofit years ago, works great. Here’s a video for exactly how to do it. Note, rebates are gone, but the 70% off here is hard to beat.

Inventory of outdoor units: (Qty 11) 2/3 ton and (Qty 2) 4/5 ton. And we have coils.

#2 Air-condition your church’s multipurpose room:

Pair one of the 15 heat pumps listed in #1 with an indoor air handler. The air handler takes the place of a would-be furnace.

Inventory of indoor air handlers: (Qty 7) 2-ton(Qty 4) 3-ton(Qty 1) 4-ton, and (Qty 3) 5-ton

#3 Time to air condition your place up North:

Since your place up north doesn’t have any ductwork (or it’s too small), consider using a zoned heat pump system. These are ‘Ultraheat’ so they can run all winter, down past -22F, and reduce or eliminate your propane cost.

Inventory of outdoor units: (Qty 2) 2-ton(Qty 4) 3-ton, and (Qty 8) 3.5-tonLots of indoor units to pair with.
