Ted Knight (Caddyshack, 1980) is such a great actor; he doesn’t even need to speak.
Ted Knight sees what his sheet metal installer did and immediately knows it’s wrong.
Ted Knight is lecturing the Director of Construction at his company, expressing that some life safety installation training had (or should have) indeed taken place.
Ted Knight is cooking up a way to salvage a difficult situation.
Maybe it can be salvaged.
Ted Knight realizes that the situation is not repairable, dampers are ordered wrong and need to be replaced and reinstalled.
It might be a fine idea for all of us to get together and get our arms around life safety damper installations.
We’re going to have a makeshift wall, a lot of different life safety dampers, and Ryan from Ruskin to make sure we know how to install them properly.
If this wasn’t a real issue, we wouldn’t show it.
When dampers are being inspected, they are getting rejected.
The ones that aren’t being inspected may be getting installed wrong.
