Serial Killer Analogy for Acoustic Enclosures
I am testing our readership. A couple of years ago you sickos tuned in to more posts if I led with murderers. If you reach the bottom of this post, and haven’t read it for a while, welcome back, killer.
May Road Shows – Let’s Build Some Sound Enclosures
Building with blocks is one of those universal, foundational activities for kids. Air Flow’s May Road Show plans to bring you back to your childhood with a hands on training on ambient and acoustic panels.
Low-Temperature Perimeter Heating Solutions
Insights into balancing energy efficiency with thermal comfort
Mastering Ambient Noise & Thermal Control.
Last announcement before our webinar class on ambient acoustics and acoustic panels.
Will Outside Air Plenums Condense?
If you build outside air plenums in Wisconsin they will condense. One solution is to line the cold side of the plenum with insulation. Price is now completing testing for their own thermally broken panel design. You can learn more about the Price alternative solution in our April 7th class!
Ambient Acoustics Explained with Fewest Words Possible
A great video depicting ambient acoustic panels from Price Industries.
Panels in place of ductwork?
Duct fabricators use aerodynamic round steel conduits, but there’s quite a bit of pressure drop with that many stiffeners in the air stream.
Who accounts for that in duct design? That’s right, nobody.
Well, Price Industries offers a great option for large ducting systems.
Here’s our Air Distribution Class Heating Takeaways
Try as we might through several examples, solving for heating at reduced air flow with high ceilings is a problem that’s difficult to solve. We came up with some options to make the spaces more comfortable, especially in heating.
Some Trigonometry Required
Air Flow’s next class is going to require you to consider revisiting your high school math.
Qualities of an AD Pro…
Signs you could become an AD (air distribution) Pro. Either way, you’re welcome at our upcoming AD class.
